Platform Validation Engineering Intern

Location: Hybrid role based at the hirify.global site in Guadalajara, Mexico, with time split between onsite and off-site work.

What you will do

• Set up validation platforms, including hardware configuration and operating system deployment.
• Execute test cases and report results during validation cycles.
• Perform triage activities and identify the root causes of platform issues.
• Script manual test cases to improve testing efficiency.
• Automate test plans with orchestration tools while following engineering, quality, and safety processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, with at least two years remaining as an active student.
• At least six months of experience with Python or another scripting language, Linux, computer assembly, firmware or software updates, and system validation.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico is required; visa or immigration sponsorship is not available.
• Strong organization, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with GitHub, SVN, GitLab, or similar version control tools.
• Experience with Jenkins, Airflow, or similar automation tools.
