Tech Development Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage capital asset budgets, purchasing, and quotation negotiations for capital projects.
• Maintain manufacturing equipment, calibration controls, and equipment listings across sites and departments.
• Control asset status and disposition, including good, repairable, and scrap equipment.
• Develop return-on-investment methods to assess equipment viability and support cost reduction through vendor validation.
• Support Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and RMA teams with equipment requests and asset repurposing.
• Conduct equipment audits with manufacturing and business teams and participate in project teams.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in mathematics, science, or engineering.
• 2–3 years of problem-solving experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, email, and Access.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, presentation, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
