Site Development Program Lead

hirify.global is a fast-growing fusion company developing stellarator fusion power plant hardware and infrastructure, including the Alpha and Stellaris machines.

What you will do

• Lead the site development program across multiple parallel projects, owning feasibility, partner relationships, stakeholder engagement, and permitting strategy.
• Align project managers, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and the overall program roadmap.
• Define and operate decision gates from project approval through final investment decision, including readiness levels, cost tracking, and schedule tracking.
• Represent hirify.global to site owners, utility partners, and other stakeholders across different regulatory environments.
• Coordinate radiation protection, environmental, building, and other approval processes into a coherent permitting strategy.
• Develop organizational and infrastructure scaling plans from initial capacity toward multi-GW scale, and report risks and key decisions to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Extensive experience leading greenfield or brownfield energy or industrial site development programs through final investment decision.
• Experience with former or adjacent nuclear sites or other heavily regulated sites is preferred.
• Track record of managing multiple projects at different maturity stages using a structured, gate-based approach.
• Strong stakeholder and partnership management skills, including work with site owners and utilities.
• Ability to consolidate detailed technical requirements from engineers and specialists.
• Fluent German and English required.
