Quality Inspector (Biotech)

Location: Wotton, United Kingdom; full-time, on-site quality inspection and biological QC laboratory work.

What you will do

• Inspect products manufactured in-house and by subcontractors using callipers, micrometres, and CMM equipment.
• Handle biological samples, register DNA samples, and perform product functional testing in the biological QC laboratory.
• Prepare Statements of Conformity, Certificates of Analysis, controlled documents, and Excel-based QC reports.
• Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and root causes; support corrective actions and CAPA activities.
• Conduct process audits, first-off production checks, data reviews, KPI updates, and rework quality checks.
• Support production, inventory transactions, document control, continuous improvement, and a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous quality control experience is required.
• Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work in special conditions, including clean rooms, low-humidity areas, and static-free environments.
• Experience with GMP and/or ISO quality systems is relevant to the role.

Nice to have

• Experience using CMM equipment.
• Experience with biological QC laboratory functional testing.
