Fixed-Term Manufacturing Associate (mRNA)

Location: Oxford, England; 100% onsite at the Harwell manufacturing site

What you will do

• Execute GMP-compliant manufacturing operations using approved procedures and documentation.
• Operate production equipment safely, complete gowning and housekeeping requirements, and perform basic maintenance.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to complete documentation and support timely commercial batch disposition.
• Investigate incidents and deviations, including root cause analysis, and contribute to CAPA activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, and digital issues while supporting operational KPIs and continuous improvement projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve the use of technology, data, and Generative AI tools in manufacturing workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• University degree specializing in pharmaceutical production technology or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience preparing for audits or inspections and understanding health authority and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong technical, scientific, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail, manage multiple activities with minimal supervision, and collaborate across functions.
• Flexibility to work off-hours and overtime when required by manufacturing operations and commercial demand.

• Experience with filtration and chromatography.
• Experience with cold chain management.
