Senior Design Manager, Strategy Collection (AI)

Location: Remote; Seattle, United States. hirify.global can hire in countries where it has a legal entity.

Base pay: $183,762–$239,912 in Zone C, $199,260–$260,145 in Zone B, or $221,400–$289,050 in Zone A, annually. The role may also include benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What you will do

• Define and drive the 0-to-1 design vision for Strategy Collection, establishing new interaction paradigms in a high-ambiguity environment.
• Set a high bar for craft, visual polish, information hierarchy, motion, and fit and finish across Focus and Talent.
• Manage, coach, and scale a high-performing team of 5–10 designers.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on roadmaps, prioritization, and strategic bets.
• Champion AI-native workflows through rapid prototyping, data-driven validation, and faster discovery-to-delivery cycles.
• Design for C-suite, transformation, and portfolio-management users, helping them understand and steer their businesses.

Requirements

• Experience managing and scaling teams of senior individual contributors and/or design managers.
• A portfolio demonstrating consumer-grade craft and the ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive workflows.
• Proven success working in nascent, high-ambiguity 0-to-1 environments.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools for prototyping, exploration, or product features.
• Fluency in B2B or enterprise domains such as strategic planning, portfolio governance, analytics, workforce capacity, or financial tracking.

• Experience at AI-first or AI-forward product teams.
• Familiarity with strategic portfolio management, OKRs, enterprise analytics, workforce planning, or financial governance platforms.
