Technical Manager - Virtual Platform Team (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $195,200–$315,490 USD

What you will do

• Architect and deliver simulation and virtual-platform solutions for AI system-on-chip products across multiple generations.
• Establish technical strategy, development methodology, and standards for virtual-platform engineering.
• Lead development of simulation, virtual-platform, and performance models for architecture and micro-architecture analysis.
• Enable early software development and support first-pass silicon success through pre-silicon environments.
• Manage a highly technical team and collaborate with software and verification teams.
• Develop and verify reusable, highly configurable software collateral using C++, C, Python, build systems, and AI coding tools.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing simulation models, virtual platforms, performance models, and early software-enablement solutions.
• 4+ years of experience managing a highly technical team.
• 4+ years of experience in subsystem and SoC-level development, analysis, and understanding of AI software stacks.
• Hands-on proficiency in C/C++, Python, scripting, and build systems, with experience delivering reusable and configurable software collateral.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with experience delivering high-quality pre-silicon development environments on schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience collaborating with software and verification teams.
• Experience using advanced AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot for development and verification of IP models.
