Segment Controller, Systems Protection

Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota, United States; hybrid

Base compensation: $123,500–$229,500 per year, with potential eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Oversee the controlling team and ensure accurate, timely consolidated financial reporting for U.S. and Canadian entities across multiple ERP systems.
• Support accounting integration and harmonization for mergers and acquisitions.
• Partner with segment functional leaders on accounting matters and provide financial analysis and balance sheet reviews.
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives supporting finance transformation.
• Oversee complex accounting transactions, technical research, documentation, audits, compliance, and adherence to global accounting policies.
• Manage, mentor, develop, and scale the segment controlling team while supporting ad hoc analyses and projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including at least 8 years of management experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.
• Experience with Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with acquisitions, integrations, ERP conversions, or growth initiatives is preferred.

Nice to have

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
• OneStream experience.
