Sales Compensation Analyst Sr.

Salary: $85,500.00–$113,966.67 per year

What you will do

• Analyze profit and loss performance, cash flow, expenditures, investments, returns, risks, and performance drivers.
• Develop forecasts, trend analyses, and financial models for budgeting, long-range planning, and strategic decisions.
• Evaluate variances against budgets, forecasts, and financial targets, recommending improvements to sales compensation program performance.
• Research economic, industry, and market conditions and assess their impact on financial plans and business results.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages, presentations, KPIs, and adjusted financial metrics for leadership, investors, lenders, and the Board of Directors.
• Lead cross-functional analytical initiatives that improve financial planning, reporting, processes, and business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related area.
• Advanced knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to independently manage analytical workstreams and translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work in the St Paul, MN office environment; the position does not require travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial planning, reporting, consolidation, business intelligence, or data visualization platforms such as OneStream or Workday.
• Experience developing dashboards, reporting solutions, and automated processes.
• Sales compensation or Sales Performance Management platform experience, including Xactly or Varicent.
• SAP experience.
