TL;DR
AI & Automation Lead (Microsoft Copilot Studio/Power Automate): Building and maintaining AI agents and automated workflows for course design, quality assurance, course refresh, and new-instance set-up with an accent on prompt design, output evaluation, and scalable Microsoft 365 integration. Focus on establishing maintainable automation standards, monitoring production workflows, measuring accuracy and throughput, and enabling teams to reuse solutions across courses.
Location: Remote, candidates must currently reside in Australia

What you will do
- Build and maintain AI agents for course development and quality assurance using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the approved Microsoft 365 environment.
- Design and test prompts and instructions that encode written quality standards and produce consistent AI output.
- Evaluate AI output against expert judgment, document accuracy thresholds, and retest workflows when standards or source material change.
- Build reusable automated workflows integrating AI output with Power Automate, scripting, and existing team systems.
- Establish standards, documentation, monitoring, error handling, and maintenance practices for AI and automation solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to learning designers and production staff on AI tools and human review.
Requirements
- Must currently reside in Australia.
- At least four years of relevant experience in automation, technology, data, AI, or related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions in a business environment.
- Practical prompt design and testing skills, including producing consistent large language model output.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft 365, plus scripting ability such as Python.
- Ability to evaluate AI accuracy, establish technical standards, and document and hand over maintainable solutions.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, data or analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or comparable agent-building platforms.
- Experience applying AI in governed enterprise environments.
- Experience in education, learning design, course production, or training non-technical colleagues.
