Staff AI Lead

Location: NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote or from home

Compensation: AUD 80 monthly credit, plus competitive remuneration

What you will do

• Design, build, and continuously improve AI agents and AI-powered products.
• Translate business problems and service opportunities into scalable AI solutions.
• Develop prompts, workflows, tools, orchestration logic, and guardrails.
• Lead experimentation, testing, and evaluation to improve agent performance and customer outcomes.
• Use data and analytics to identify optimisation opportunities and measure impact.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Design, and Analytics teams while contributing to AI standards and frameworks.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience building and delivering AI agents, Generative AI solutions, conversational AI, or LLM-powered products.
• Strong knowledge of agent architectures, orchestration patterns, prompt engineering, and AI guardrails.
• Hands-on experience building, evaluating, and optimising AI agents and LLM-powered products in production.
• Experience using experimentation, analytics, and data-driven insights to improve product performance.
• Strong technical judgement, stakeholder influence, and communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset, curiosity about emerging technologies, and commitment to continuous improvement.
