TL;DR
QA Engineer (AI/SaaS): Building an agentic QA system for venture capital software with an accent on AI-driven testing, customer workflows, and release quality. Location: Remote, with the candidate required to live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time

What you will do
- Anticipate product issues by studying features, customer use cases, and surrounding workflows before release.
- Build and maintain AI agents that run regression tests, explore features, monitor customer flows, and flag risks automatically.
- Learn how fund managers, LPs, and internal teams use Decile Hub and Start Fund through support tickets and onboarding sessions.
- Own onboarding and login flows, including invitations, verification, document signing, and capital calls.
- Create test plans, maintain regression suites, track and triage bugs, and run release checks.
- Partner with engineering, product, and customer success to escalate risks and issues clearly.
Requirements
- Must live and work within a few time zones of Pacific (California) time.
- 5+ years of experience in QA, test engineering, or a related role on a SaaS product.
- Hands-on experience building with AI agents and automation tools.
- Experience with test automation for web applications and a record of identifying issues before release.
- Strong organization and clear written communication for test plans, bug reports, and release checklists.
- Customer empathy and willingness to engage with customers through calls, tickets, and onboarding sessions.
Nice to have
- Experience with venture capital, fund administration, or financial compliance workflows.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails applications.
- Experience testing onboarding, identity verification, or payment flows.
