Associate II - Transactional Services (Reinsurance)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, Philadelphia, or Edina, Minnesota, with at least three days per week in the office

Base salary: $97,700–$162,700 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives

What you will do

• Manage an assigned client portfolio, including follow-up, accurate system entry, and reinsurance premium collection.
• Coordinate with internal departments on collection efforts and cash application processes.
• Oversee timely settlement of funds to and from clients in line with payment warranties and conditions.
• Complete assigned work accurately and according to Service Level Agreements.
• Provide client-specific accounting and claims information to support sales opportunities.
• Build relationships with brokers, clients, and markets, resolve issues, and contribute to team meetings and outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in excess-of-loss reinsurance and accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
