Senior Software Engineer - Normalization Platform (Healthcare Data)

Location: Seattle, WA; hybrid position based at headquarters in the Greater Seattle area. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base pay: $155,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Own major parts of the next-generation architecture for the semantic normalization platform.
• Scale services for increasing data volume and diverse healthcare data sources.
• Map diagnoses, lab results, medications, and other health-system data to standard medical concepts.
• Design and evolve reliable, secure, distributed software, data pipelines, and APIs.
• Balance privacy, security, reliability, and changing product requirements.
• Guide workstreams, mentor junior developers, and support ethical innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-quality software in a team environment.
• Experience building cloud services or data pipelines in Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with cross-platform, multi-tenant services and distributed systems.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud-native platforms.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required; work visa or permit sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• InfraOps or DevOps experience.
• Kubernetes experience.
• Healthcare domain experience.
• Experience with AI agents.
