Senior Engineer - Desktop Application (Cybersecurity SaaS)

Location: Austin, Texas, or remote within the United States

Base salary: $180,000–$195,000 per year plus a 10% performance bonus

hirify.global is a high-growth cybersecurity SaaS company developing a virtual workspace platform that provides secure access to enterprise applications without storing data on user devices.

What you will do

• Build and enhance the hirify.global Client desktop application for Windows.
• Support iOS and Android applications as needed.
• Design, code, troubleshoot, and test new functionality and bug fixes.
• Deliver secure software through CI/CD pipelines to on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Reconcile product requirements with Windows internals and related mobile-platform capabilities.
• Create unit tests and communicate delivery status through Jira and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience developing desktop applications.
• Proven fluency in C#, C, and C++.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows.
• Strong understanding of Git version control.
• Knowledge of secure software design, implementation, and deployment practices.
• Ability to work with ambiguous requirements, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Objective-C, Swift, or Kotlin Multiplatform experience.
• Android and iOS application development experience, including 1+ year of mobile software development.
• Google Protobuf knowledge.
• Windows App Store development and packaging experience.
• Jenkins and automated build-system experience.
