Senior Software Engineer (C#)

Location: Draper, Utah, United States; hybrid work with regular time in the Draper office

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and support backend platform services and internal applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, GraphQL, and RESTful services.
• Use AI coding agents daily and evaluate their output for correctness, quality, and maintainability.
• Investigate technical issues, troubleshoot production applications, and deliver effective solutions.
• Design and maintain integrations with third-party services.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews, pull requests, and CI/CD processes.
• Deliver projects independently or collaboratively, contribute to the Kanban workflow, and support production systems through an on-call rotation covering off-hours, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend development fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting production applications and backend services.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET Core; experience with GraphQL services is valued.
• Experience using AI coding agents and independently validating generated code.
• Ability to work in a flexible hybrid environment, including time in the Draper, Utah office, and participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24/7 production systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hot Chocolate GraphQL Server.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, T-SQL, AWS, containerization, or Application Insights.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and sharing technical knowledge.
• Understanding of customer needs and business requirements.
