Full-Stack Applied AI Engineer

AI-native consulting and implementation work for mid-market and enterprise clients, modernizing critical workflows with generative AI, automation, and cloud platforms.

What you will do

• Design and build full-stack features from user interface through backend services and deployment.
• Implement production AI capabilities including RAG, tool calling, agent workflows, structured prompting, evaluations, and guardrails.
• Prototype quickly and harden systems for security, reliability, auditability, and cost control.
• Configure environments, CI/CD pipelines, secrets, and deployments.
• Make architecture, scope, and technical trade-off decisions while collaborating with strategists, clients, and senior engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of production software development across frontend and backend systems.
• Hands-on experience shipping generative AI features in real products.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with experience in React or Next.js and Node.js frameworks such as Nest or Express.
• Experience with SQL databases, PostgreSQL, caches, and vector stores.
• Ability to design secure production systems involving RBAC, secrets, auditability, and PII-aware data handling.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or Vercel, plus CI/CD fundamentals and clear communication with non-engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, or regulated environments.
• Prior consulting or agency delivery experience.
