Senior JS Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania

What you will do

• Design and build scalable full-stack applications for retail teams to detect stock issues, prioritize actions, and measure product availability improvements.
• Develop end-to-end features with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and serverless AWS components.
• Implement REST APIs, integrate GraphQL services, and configure AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway with secure CORS handling.
• Improve frontend and backend performance, scalability, maintainability, and architectural design.
• Build unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and use logs, metrics, and tracing to maintain production reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD improvements, code reviews, clean architecture, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong experience with React, Hooks, Node.js, TypeScript, asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL services.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with indexing and query optimization experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CORS, testing strategies, clean architecture, dependency injection, and SOLID principles.
• Hands-on experience with AI engineering and AI tools or harnesses.
• Intermediate strong or Upper-Intermediate English is required for collaboration in a multicultural team.

Nice to have

• Advanced AWS ecosystem experience, including retries, dead-letter queues, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with GraphQL resolvers, schema stitching, Kafka, AWS EventBridge, Terraform, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
