System Administrator Sr. (Microsoft)

Salary: $103,000–$120,000 annually, plus a 10% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Maintain the resiliency, performance, availability, and security of infrastructure systems.
• Monitor production environments, manage incident resolution, and troubleshoot server, application, and performance issues.
• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and repair Microsoft Server operating systems and related applications.
• Configure Active Directory user groups and security controls, and manage Microsoft Office 365 and messaging services.
• Create scripted automations and support process improvements that reduce human error.
• Participate in business continuity testing and provide infrastructure support through a 7x24 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience related to systems administration.
• Experience with systems administration, security, disaster recovery, server management, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of technical deployments and data security requirements in financial institutions or other federally regulated industries.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to participate in a 7x24 infrastructure on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• MCSE, MCSA, VMware VCP, or application-specific certifications.
• Experience providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
