Research Intern (AI)

Location: Seattle hub, United States; must be willing and able to work from this hub

Salary: $40–$55 per hour, depending on the United States geographic pay zone

What you will do

• Contribute AI tools, pipelines, and systems for the Research and Insights organization.
• Conduct a research project using existing AI tooling.
• Build tools and experiences that make research faster and extend the reach of insights.
• Support research workflows across Product, Design, Strategy, and Engineering.

Requirements

• Commit to a 12-week, full-time program of 40 hours per week during summer 2027.
• Be currently enrolled full-time and return to the program after the internship, graduating by August 2028.
• Be willing and able to work from the Seattle hub.
• Have knowledge of qualitative and some quantitative UX research methods.
• Be proficient in data management and data analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI tools or applications with tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
• Understanding of research workflows from planning and recruiting through reporting and archiving.
• Experience sharing research insights through engaging techniques.
