Manager, Corporate Communications (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, USA or San Francisco, CA, USA. Hybrid schedule with four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office.

Base salary: $133,000–$185,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead communications for quarterly earnings, corporate announcements, and other major company moments in partnership with Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations, Legal, and Finance.
• Maintain the messaging source of truth and ensure consistent corporate narratives across earnings, announcements, executive platforms, and owned channels.
• Build relationships with business, financial, fintech, and technology reporters, creators, podcast hosts, and other emerging media voices.
• Manage executive visibility, including recommendations, interview preparation, briefing, and staffing for speaking engagements.
• Lead sensitive media inquiries and issues management from initial triage through resolution, coordinating with Legal, Risk, Security, and other partners.
• Manage agency partners, measure communications impact, and build AI tools and workflows that improve team operations and answer engine optimization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in corporate, financial, or executive communications, in-house or at an agency.
• Hands-on experience with public-company communications, quarterly earnings, Investor Relations, and Legal teams.
• Established relationships with business, financial, and technology reporters, with experience securing coverage and managing media requests.
• Experience preparing and staffing executives for interviews, panels, and speaking engagements.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills across press releases, Q&A documents, briefing books, talking points, and scripts.
• Strong judgment, organization, crisis communications experience, and hands-on experience building AI tools and workflows.
