Director, Corporate Communications

Location: US Remote - California; in-person, hybrid, and remote candidates are considered. Candidates must be legally able to work in the United States.

Salary: $163,308–$267,038 per year

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day corporate communications for hirify.global Holdings and its portfolio brands.
• Manage issue and crisis response, including fact-finding, escalation paths, holding statements, social listening triggers, and response strategies.
• Prepare executives for media interviews, conferences, community events, and high-stakes announcements; develop executive platform plans.
• Manage corporate media relations, press releases, statements, Q&As, briefing documents, and key messages.
• Coordinate communications for corporate milestones, acquisitions, partnerships, leadership news, investor-facing materials, and major enterprise events.
• Manage PR agencies and vendors, media monitoring, reporting, and communications measurement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, issues management, or public affairs, including in-house experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing real-time issues and crises, including social-media-driven situations.
• Experience preparing senior executives for media engagements and high-stakes moments.
• Experience partnering with Finance and Legal on financial communications; public-company or late-stage experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, sound judgment under pressure, and experience managing and developing people.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Experience in marketplaces, fintech, consumer platforms, sports and entertainment, or enthusiast communities.
• Knowledge of the collectibles hobby.
