Digital Software Sr Engineer I

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and sustain production-grade software.
• Build technology that enables customer experiences in partnership with Product Management.
• Identify and implement technologies and techniques that improve platform performance.
• Maintain consistency, reliability, supportability, and observability across services.
• Analyze product tradeoffs and deliver simple, intuitive products.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and technology leadership to solve complex challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or seven years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• At least five years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, UI Lead, Programmer Analyst, Software Programmer, or in a related role.
• At least five years of experience delivering commercial cloud and backend software products and services at enterprise-to-internet scale.
• At least five years of experience developing UI, service, data store, and communication layers.
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
