Engineering Manager

Location: New Albany, Indiana, United States; travel to field and job sites as required.

Salary: $125,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage engineering department operations, administrative staff, project schedules, deadlines, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across business development, production, and technical teams.
• Complete and review designs, approve process specifications and design standards, and drive design improvements.
• Maintain job-tracking systems, cost-control data, statistical records, and executive performance reports.
• Implement operational policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Lead recruitment, performance feedback, career mapping, team placement, and strategic department growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering management or technical supervision.
• Experience managing staff, project schedules, and cross-functional operations.
• Strong background in engineering design, process specification approval, material selection standards, and cost-conscious design.
• Strong interpersonal and people-management skills, including recruitment, performance feedback, and team building.
• Experience with job tracking, scheduling, statistical data collection, and executive reporting.
• Ability to travel to field and job sites as needed.
