Salary: $145,000 - $200,000 USD

What you will do

• Directly manage, mentor, and expand a team of junior and senior electronics engineers.
• Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to define and architect next-generation electronic systems.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of electronic hardware, from design and development to implementation and verification.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule to ensure hardware development aligns with program timelines.
• Drive the design process, including specification, component selection, circuit board design, and system-level integration.
• Lead the team through hands-on debugging, board bring-up, and system validation.
• Play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members to support rapid growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced product design and development environment.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing complex electronic hardware from concept to production.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• Proven experience in building and managing teams of engineers, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a US Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or Refugee/Asylee Status holder.

Nice to have

• Experience with photovoltaics.
• Experience with Li-ion batteries and battery management systems.
• Experience with magnetics in power electronics.
• Knowledge of radiation effects on electronic components.
