Engineering Manager (Gas Engine)

Location: Office/site only in Painted Post, New York, United States

Base salary: $138,400–$197,800 annually if based in New York; annual incentive target: 15% of base salary.

What you will do

• Lead engineering execution for turbocharger upgrades, HPFI manufacturing, and engine refurbishments while ensuring safety and industry compliance.
• Direct the development and commercialization of power generation package designs, including warranty support and customer execution.
• Manage, mentor, and support the career growth of the gas engine engineering team.
• Allocate resources and balance workloads to increase engineering capacity and throughput.
• Evaluate and implement advanced engineering tools and processes in collaboration with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience in gas engines, compression, or power generation.
• 3–5 years of experience in engineering management or a leadership role.
• Experience with engineering leadership, people management, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong understanding of gas engine technology, turbocharger systems, HPFI systems, and power generation package development.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
