HR Business Partner Director - Global Businesses & Functions (Temporary)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Regular work from a BCG office or in person with clients is generally expected, typically around 50% of working time, in line with local policies and business needs.

What you will do

• Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to shape and execute people strategies across one to two global businesses or functions.
• Lead significant people, organizational transformation, and change initiatives from diagnosis and problem solving through design, execution, and measurable outcomes.
• Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, capabilities, roles, talent, and ways of working.
• Strengthen talent and succession priorities, including critical capability planning, career pathways, and talent risk management.
• Use people data, workforce insights, and organizational context to improve complex people decisions.
• Build trusted relationships across BCG’s global People organization and provide continuity across changing assignments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of senior-level experience in HR, people strategy, organizational transformation, or a related field.
• Experience advising senior leaders on complex people, organizational, and change priorities in a global, matrixed environment.
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Track record of leading complex initiatives from definition through delivery, combining strategic perspective with hands-on execution.
• Confidence using data and insights to inform decisions, with curiosity about GenAI, digital tools, and emerging technologies.
• Adaptability and resilience when moving between assignments, navigating ambiguity, and working across a global HR network.
