Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico; onsite at the existing work location with a planned transition to a new facility within approximately five miles

Manufacturing company developing equipment, processes, and production solutions for industrial applications.

What you will do

• Design and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, gauging, equipment, and related production systems.
• Manage concurrent process functions from design concept through implementation and support new product introduction.
• Identify and implement improvements to complex manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Monitor equipment and process reliability and resolve operational problem areas.
• Lead engineering support for the planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, and facilities.
• Supervise, coach, and develop operations technical staff and support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English required.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering, lean manufacturing, manufacturing processes, critical thinking, and problem solving.
• Ability to perform machine runoffs and approve technical specification acceptance criteria.
• Ability to work onsite in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
