Principal Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Architect and lead cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform services for warehouse automation.
• Define technical roadmaps aligned with product and business goals.
• Set engineering standards, review designs, mentor senior engineers, and serve as a technical anchor across teams.
• Own end-to-end system design, including API contracts, data models, deployment, and observability.
• Identify architectural bottlenecks, technical debt, and scalability constraints.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, and Engineering leadership and contribute to hiring and team development.

Requirements

• 10–25 years of professional experience.
• Deep hands-on experience designing and building production systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and managed services.
• Experience building multi-tenant, highly available SaaS platforms with reliable tenant isolation and scalability.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams, influence without authority, and communicate complex decisions clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics or autonomous vehicles, including robot control systems, integration layers, or autonomous navigation.
• Knowledge of warehouse automation, fulfillment operations, WMS/WCS systems, or goods-to-person workflows.
• Experience with fleet orchestration for autonomous agents or devices at scale.
