Assoc Engineer Mobile Device (Android)

Location: On-site in Mundelein, Illinois, United States; up to 10% overnight travel may be required.

Salary: $73,000–$110,000 annual.

What you will do

• Execute basic and moderate RF handheld projects from concept through implementation across multiple departments.
• Design, develop, and support Android applications for Zebra RF handheld devices.
• Configure, administer, and maintain RF handheld devices through a Mobile Device Management platform.
• Provide device, operating system, technical phone, and on-site support to end users.
• Resolve Help Desk tickets and troubleshoot RF handheld issues.
• Assist with technical design, testing, and delivery of branch-related RF handheld solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
• At least one year of RF troubleshooting and configuration experience.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Zebra rugged handheld devices, including Android TC51, TC56, and TC57.
• General understanding of MDM platforms, Bluetooth technologies, and rugged handheld terminal emulation software.
• General understanding of voice-picking applications, voice-directed applications, warehouse management systems, and warehouse workflows.
