Software Engineering, Android (All Teams)

Location: Hybrid, with regular in-office time expected, in San Francisco, New York City, Sunnyvale, or Seattle. The posting also lists the countries as the US and Australia.

Salary: $130,600–$192,000 USD annual base salary, localized according to work location. Equity grants may also be available.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Android features for a mobile application used by millions of people.
• Improve the codebase through continuous refactoring and architecture enhancements.
• Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization problems.
• Extend and implement APIs for the logistics platform.
• Implement unit tests and follow current Android development standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and report to an Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Expertise developing with the Android SDK in a product environment.
• Knowledge of systems and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Android testing best practices and frameworks.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile applications, with independent judgment in assigned responsibilities.
