Associate Director, Software Technical Product Management (Multiomics)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Diego, California, United States

Base salary: $187,400–$281,000 per year, plus eligible bonus, commission, and equity programs.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop the Multiomics software technical product management team.
• Own product outcomes and the multi-release roadmap narrative for the Multiomics and hirify.global Connected Multiomics portfolio.
• Set product goals, operating cadence, quality standards for PRDs, discovery, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with engineering, BioInsight Platform, design, commercial, field, and scientific stakeholders to sequence priorities and deliver customer outcomes.
• Lead customer and field discovery, translating software friction into prioritized bets with measurable success metrics.
• Represent Multiomics software product management in leadership forums and support strategic customer and executive engagements.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of progressive product management experience in scientific or analysis software, including meaningful people leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, bioinformatics, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading and developing product managers or senior individual contributors.
• Experience creating portfolio strategy, translating it into team roadmaps, and shipping products iteratively.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, design or UX, quality, commercial, and field partners, with working knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, and executive communication skills, with the ability to unify applications and data product threads.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping multiomics, genomics, spatial, single-cell, or related life-sciences software products.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data analysis workflows.
