Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Install, modify, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain plant equipment and administer the preventive maintenance program to maximize uptime.
• Perform plumbing, carpentry, welding, fabrication, and general facility maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on equipment repairs, installations, quotes, and materials.
• Manage spare-parts inventory, maintenance records, procedures, and safety practices.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, trade certificate, or 2–4 years of related maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, welding, and fabrication systems and processes.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, safety regulations, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and government regulations.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and maintain certification when required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice to have

• Associate of Applied Science degree in industrial maintenance, welding technology, control systems, industrial automation engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English and Spanish communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
