Maintenance Tech II (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site at the hirify.global Oak Hills, California facility, United States. Weekend work, overtime, rotating shifts, and short-notice shift coverage may be required. No travel or relocation assistance. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Starting pay: $40.32 per hour.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve mechanical equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, piping, ovens, and production machinery.
• Diagnose and maintain motors, drive controls, PLC devices and logic, sensors, wiring, and other electrical and control-system components.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, material-handling systems, facility utilities, and safety devices.
• Move, rig, hoist, position, level, and align equipment; operate powered industrial vehicles including forklifts and WAVs.
• Prioritize work orders, document maintenance activities, manage preventive-maintenance records, and procure parts.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, contractors, and maintenance staff; support training, welding and fabrication, and continuous-improvement projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or higher and at least five years of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience, including apprenticeship experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience operating powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts and WAVs.
• Availability for weekend work, overtime, rotating shifts, and short-notice shift coverage.
• Must have U.S. work authorization without employment visa sponsorship.
• Basic qualifications require passing hirify.global testing during the selection process.

Nice to have

• Seven or more years of mechanical or electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environments.
• Technical degree, apprenticeship, formal industrial maintenance training, or CMRT certification.
• Experience in continuous-process manufacturing, machining, precision measurement, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
