Accounting Manager - Financial Products & Services

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 states, with limited exceptions.

Base salary: $103,200–$164,800 annually in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington, DC; $98,000–$156,600 annually in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Virginia. The role is also eligible for equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of complex journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting schedules.
• Apply accounting guidance to new or unusual transactions and document conclusions for audit support.
• Coordinate month-end and quarter-end close activities, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures, controls, and process documentation.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and business teams on general-ledger initiatives and accounting questions.
• Support system and workflow changes by defining accounting requirements, testing results, and validating data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of professional accounting experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, or a related finance role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge; an active CPA license is strongly preferred.
• Experience with complex reconciliations, period-end close, and variance analysis in a high-volume or multi-entity environment.
• Experience with modern ERP or financial systems and spreadsheet tools.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Google Gemini in accounting or Finance environments.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in public accounting as an auditor.
