Engineering Manager (Developer Infrastructure)

Location: Remote within the United States; headquarters in New York City and a satellite office in San Francisco

Salary: $245,000–$285,000 annually plus equity

What you will do

• Lead and grow the Developer Infrastructure team within the Platform organization.
• Own the technical strategy, roadmap, planning, and execution for developer platforms and internal tooling.
• Improve local development, integration testing, CI/CD, release workflows, monitoring, observability, and engineering standards.
• Guide architecture decisions and contribute hands-on through coding and debugging when needed.
• Partner with application, data, security, and operations teams to improve reliability and developer productivity.
• Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop engineers through continuous feedback and 360-degree reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading and developing engineering teams.
• Experience building or operating developer platforms, internal tools, CI/CD systems, test infrastructure, release automation, or observability systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker or Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern observability stacks.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to turn internal customer needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments and aligning partners around a shared roadmap.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and team-development skills with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
