Advanced Test Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in Scottsdale, Arizona; U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance are required.

Salary: $60,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Perform system integration, verification, software integration, and ground-system testing.
• Analyze and decompose system and software requirements.
• Develop test plans, test procedures, diagnostic programs, and engineering specifications.
• Execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and develop test automation scripts.
• Plan technical approaches, resources, schedules, budgets, and equipment for testing new systems and devices.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related Science or Mathematics field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages.
• 5+ years of experience working with satellite operations and ground operations systems.
• Ability to propose productivity improvements, gather input, and optimize solutions.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of software integration experience.
• 10+ years of recent Linux experience.
• Ability to learn new information quickly and handle increasing responsibility and complexity.
