Senior Project Lead

Location: Remote

Salary: $70,000–$82,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as the primary strategic contact for assigned higher education clients through status updates, performance reviews, and planning sessions.
• Lead complex, multi-workstream marketing projects from onboarding through final delivery.
• Build and manage project timelines, approval milestones, strategy calls, and delivery standards.
• Monitor project performance, revenue, burn rates, profitability, and budget compliance.
• Identify project and relationship risks and communicate timeline, scope, and financial impacts.
• Mentor project leads and cross-functional teams and support training, hiring, and onboarding.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in higher education, marketing, or agency environments.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multi-workstream client accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Advanced proficiency with Asana, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and remote collaboration platforms.
• Strong communication, autonomy, problem-solving, change-management, and emotional-intelligence skills; ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods.

Nice to have

• PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification.
• Experience or interest in using AI tools to improve processes and client experiences.
