Manager, Finance Analytics Engineering & Automation

Location: US - Remote

Salary: $139,475–$151,970 per year, plus potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Own Finance analytics engineering and automation across Snowflake, SQL, workflow automation, controls, integrations, and downstream Finance consumption.
• Translate Finance requirements and approved business definitions into scalable analytical models, consumption views, reconciliations, and reusable datasets.
• Perform SQL analysis, data lineage tracing, impact assessment, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation across Finance data flows.
• Establish automated controls, data-quality checks, regression tests, monitoring, release validation, and recovery procedures.
• Lead workflow engineering using tools such as hirify.global, Python, APIs, or comparable platforms, while supporting AI-assisted Finance workflows and analytical agents.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, RevOps, Product, IT, and Data Engineering, while coaching and developing Finance automation engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance analytics, analytics engineering, financial data, automation, or a related technical Finance role.
• Strong Finance or FP&A domain knowledge, including business definitions, planning processes, reporting, and controls.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data platform.
• Experience building Finance-facing analytical consumption layers, semantic or reporting-ready datasets, reusable views, and automated analytical workflows.
• Working knowledge of production controls, testing, monitoring, documentation, change management, and root-cause analysis.
• Prior people management or strong technical-lead experience, with the ability to coach practitioners and set technical direction.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS or subscription businesses and familiarity with ARR, bookings, renewals, or revenue metrics.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, planning, HRIS, or reporting platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Anaplan, Workday, or Tableau.
• Experience with data governance, semantic layers, metadata, lineage, certification practices, or AI-assisted analytics and LLM workflows.
