Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert (AI): Reviewing and developing curriculum and learning content for an entry-level data analytics bootcamp with an accent on SQL, Python, Excel, visualization, reporting, and AI-assisted analytics. Focus on designing practical exercises, validating AI-generated outputs, and explaining analytical concepts to beginner and non-technical audiences.
Location: Remote within the United States; contract, part-time
Pay: $55–60 per hour

What you will do
- Review and align Data Analytics Bootcamp curriculum covering Excel, statistics, financial analysis, visualization, reporting, SQL, Python, and advanced analytics.
- Recommend updates based on current analyst responsibilities, modern BI and data tools, and AI-assisted analytics practices.
- Write and revise lessons, exercises, projects, case studies, quizzes, assessments, videos, PDFs, and infographics using realistic business scenarios and datasets.
- Develop content on using AI to troubleshoot formulas, support analysis, draft summaries, explain charts, and explore visualization approaches.
- Review spreadsheets, SQL queries, Python scripts, visualizations, and AI-assisted workflows for technical accuracy and learning effectiveness.
- Create reporting activities that teach learners to interpret KPIs and communicate insights to operational and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics or business analytics, ideally in a large Fortune 1000 organization.
- Experience teaching data analytics and developing analytics explainer content or curricula.
- Strong command of SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Strong understanding of statistics, financial analysis, reporting, visualization, structured analytical problem-solving, and generative AI workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to beginners and non-technical audiences.
