Enterprise Solutions Architect (Azure)

Location: Hybrid position in the Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. Metro area, with periodic travel to the customer site in Washington, D.C.

Salary: $150,000–$225,000 annually

What you will do

• Architect, design, and develop solutions for multi-cloud hybrid infrastructure and enterprise application platforms.
• Create solution roadmaps, architecture models, interface definitions, implementation approaches, and operational concepts.
• Drive proofs of concept and minimum viable products for cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
• Define system requirements, capabilities, performance expectations, and technology maturity constraints.
• Evaluate customer needs, technical performance, cost-benefit trade-offs, and long-term solution viability.
• Collaborate with users, customers, stakeholders, and multiple technical teams to address application, systems administration, and network concerns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, plus 15+ years of experience or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification required.
• At least 10 years of experience architecting, consulting, designing, developing, leading, and delivering cloud infrastructure and cloud application platform solutions across complex enterprise project lifecycles.
• At least 8 years of experience in more than one technical domain: core infrastructure, application development, data and analytics, or low-code/no-code.
• No security clearance is required.
• Must work in the Northern Virginia / Washington, D.C. Metro area and travel periodically to the customer site in Washington, D.C.

• Experience supporting the Department of Health and Human Services, especially the Office of the Inspector General.
