Software Engineer II (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote-first

Salary: $110,500–$156,000 USD annually, depending on geographic zone and experience.

What you will do

• Build engineering solutions for subscription and monetization workflows.
• Improve upgrade and downgrade experiences for new customers.
• Develop functionality for pricing and product packaging.
• Design and implement scalable, performant distributed systems and SaaS applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and multiple feature teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing Java systems or software for large business platforms.
• Experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, and Kinesis.
• Experience with SQL database design using Oracle or MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Experience with Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and complex distributed systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience using Gen AI technologies to accelerate software engineering through prompt design, rigorous output evaluation, and LLM integration.
