Global Sourcing Specialist (University Hire)

Location: This is a full-time, in-person role based in our San Mateo, CA office. Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this role, at this time.

Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 USD

What you will do

• Support senior sourcing members with end-to-end hardware sourcing responsibilities during NPI and MP phases.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for various operational aspects, including cost management and margin analysis.
• Find, qualify, and manage suppliers, including relationship management, audits, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to deliver new products.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar fields of study.
• Internship experience delivering results on challenging hardware operations challenges.
• Comfortable working across different time zones and attending meetings outside of traditional business hours.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Must be independently authorized to work in the U.S.
