Digital M&A Program Manager

Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; other location: Grand Prairie, Texas. Flexible hybrid/remote options are available, with frequent travel across the US, Canada, Toulouse, France, and Hamburg, Germany, up to 30–40%.

What you will do

• Lead technical due diligence, target architecture assessments, cybersecurity risk evaluations, and technical debt identification for M&A, joint ventures, and divestitures.
• Develop solution designs, technical requirements, architectural blueprints, and integration roadmaps supporting Day 1 readiness.
• Manage IT financial valuation, budget modeling, synergy targets, Transition Service Agreement costs, and consultancy spend.
• Direct post-merger integrations and corporate separations across North American entities, including software cutovers, cloud migrations, data governance, and stabilization.
• Protect the continuity of customer support, aftermarket, and client service platforms across commercial and defense operations.
• Coordinate North American site leadership, European M&A leads, executive steering committees, external advisors, and customer representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also accepted.
• 10+ years of progressive IS/IT project or program management experience, including M&A, post-merger integration, restructuring, carve-outs, or company creation in international multi-entity environments.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar program budgets, vendor contracts, and TSA financial structures.
• Technical breadth across enterprise applications, AWS or Azure cloud environments, data migration tools, and Agile or Waterfall delivery.
• Experience with customer-facing systems and Customer Support or Services operations.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without present or future employer sponsorship is required. Security clearance is not required.
• Strong executive presentation, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or TOGAF certification.
• Aerospace or defense experience, Customer Support and Services experience, or familiarity with the hirify.global Information Management ecosystem.
• Working proficiency in French, Spanish, or German.
