What you will do
- Automate PM/analyst processes including alpha signals, portfolio construction, real-time risk, P&L, and stress analytics.
- Build proprietary research, portfolio construction, and risk management platforms.
- Develop end-to-end products: data ingestion, micro-service back-ends, and lightweight front-ends for visualization and workflow.
- Own the full software development lifecycle in a fast-moving trading environment.
- Balance long-term platform projects with fast tactical requests and deliver incremental value quickly.
- Extend the proprietary AI platform to create differentiated analytics.
- Maintain strong communication with technology, trading, quant research, and risk stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must have 2–3 years buy- or sell-side experience as a STRAT, quant dev, or forward-deployed engineer.
- Willing to be based in Hong Kong (relocation support provided).
- Strong coding skills across the stack including Python, REST/GraphQL APIs, and JS/React or Dash front-ends.
- STEM Master’s or Ph.D. with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills; ML/AI experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of trade lifecycle and investment management workflows; equities exposure preferred.
- Self-starter with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
