Associate Accountant, Fund Accounting

What you will do

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly fund accounting records.
• Assist with calculating and verifying Net Asset Values for investment funds.
• Reconcile cash, securities, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor and resolve accounting breaks and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Process and review investment transactions, including purchases, sales, income, and corporate actions.
• Follow internal controls and contribute to process improvement initiatives that reduce operational risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, or other investment vehicles.
• Experience working independently and in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
