Senior Consultant - Healthcare Security (System Director)

Location: Virtual Office in the United States; regular travel throughout the year is required to meet client needs

Salary: $88,900–$155,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Manage RFPs and evaluation processes for healthcare security management contracts.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, vendors, and healthcare provider leadership on contracting and purchasing activities.
• Develop project work plans, track program progress, and validate savings achieved through engagement.
• Assess security programs, vendor contracts, KPIs, policies, training, workflows, and high-risk patient and staff areas.
• Evaluate access control, cameras, panic alarms, badge readers, lighting, entry points, patrol routes, parking security, intrusion detection, and security operations centers.
• Prepare assessment reports and present operational, risk, and financial recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant experience in security management or a related field.
• Experience as a Director of Security and/or in law enforcement within a multi-location healthcare system.
• CHPA credentials required.
• Ability to read location schematic drawings and specifications.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.

Nice to have

• Relevant degree.
• Consulting, analytics, healthcare supply chain procurement, and clinical and non-clinical healthcare process experience.
• Board certification in Security Management.
