Technical Project Manager - ALD New Product Transitions (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite role with approximately 10% travel

Salary: $116,000–$159,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage ALD new product transitions, continuous improvement projects, and refurbished systems.
• Develop manufacturing strategies and high-level Plans for Record with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, materials, and program teams.
• Manage manufacturing builds from laboratory chambers and Early Learning Shipment builds through the ALD pilot line and Development Tool of Record customer shipments.
• Coordinate build and test specifications, documentation, supplier quality, field quality, and product transition into volume manufacturing.
• Develop test strategies, tooling, and test fixtures for new ALD chambers while meeting capacity, cycle-time, and quality goals.
• Drive operational data analysis, failure analysis, non-conformance corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience, depending on the grade assigned at offer.
• Project management expertise and basic knowledge of capital equipment in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering and operations teams.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing and test data, solve manufacturing problems, and apply technical judgment.
• Ability to guide team members and keep programs focused on timely, high-quality system delivery.
• Must work onsite in Austin, Texas; the role is not relocation eligible.
