Solutions Analyst - Technology Adoption (AI)

Location: Primarily remote within the United States; occasional travel to Department of the Interior locations may be required. Availability is required during DOI core hours of 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. ET.

What you will do

• Participate in discovery and process-review sessions covering current workflows, future-state changes, user groups, risks, and adoption needs.
• Use LLMs and other AI tools to synthesize findings, analyze information, draft documentation, explore solutions, and support lightweight prototyping and validation.
• Translate solution changes into SOPs, workflow diagrams, templates, job aids, training content, communications, and other user-facing materials.
• Document roles, data, system interactions, business rules, and operational impacts across low-code, AI, and automation capabilities.
• Work with business, process, and technical teammates across discovery, analysis, prototyping, testing, user feedback, and adoption.
• Maintain documentation standards, version control, traceability, and Section 508 accessibility for user-facing deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in solutions analysis, business analysis, process improvement, technology adoption, change enablement, or a related field.
• Experience supporting technology or process change from discovery through testing and adoption.
• Experience creating accurate SOPs, job aids, training materials, workflow documentation, or similar implementation content.
• Ability to understand enterprise applications, data flows, automation, and integration concepts and explain solution changes clearly.
• Must successfully complete the background investigation, suitability, credentialing, and system-access requirements for a Moderate Risk Public Trust position.
• Must be able to work primarily remotely within the United States and during DOI core hours of 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. ET.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or similar enterprise collaboration and low-code environments.
• Experience producing Section 508-conformant documentation, accessible training content, or captioned instructional media.
• Federal consulting or professional-services experience.
• Prosci, ADKAR, or comparable change-management training or certification.
• Experience using generative AI or LLM tools for analysis, research, documentation, solution exploration, prototyping, training, or user enablement.
