Lead Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote role associated with Rīga, Latvia

What you will do

• Lead product discovery and business analysis for complex digital products, workflows, and transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and collaborative discovery sessions.
• Translate business outcomes into epics, features, user stories, process models, business rules, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Prepare work for sprint planning, refinement, estimation, and prioritization while supporting autonomous squads.
• Coordinate testing readiness with Quality Assurance, define test scenarios, review results, and ensure defects are addressed.
• Establish reusable analysis templates and standards while identifying opportunities for process simplification, automation, and responsible AI use.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in business analysis, product discovery, or digital product delivery.
• Experience leading analysis for complex software products, platforms, or transformation programs.
• Strong facilitation, requirements elicitation, stakeholder management, conflict-resolution, and analytical skills.
• Ability to create user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, workflows, system models, and supporting documentation.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools for requirements and user story work, applying human review and governance.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, and collaboration with developers, Quality Assurance, and product or program leaders. Professional fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience mentoring Business Analysts or owning a Business Analysis practice.
• Experience with B2B SaaS, sustainability, manufacturing, supply chains, chemical data, assessment, or compliance products.
• Knowledge of process modelling, service design, data analysis, product management, Scrum, Kanban, OKRs, or modern product operating models.
• Experience identifying practical automation and AI-assisted opportunities within governance and risk controls.
